Co-Working Space Managers works in and manages the Staples Studio Coworking center. This position is responsible for managing the overall operation of the space, retention of existing clients and supporting new-member acquisition. You will also be collaborative and inclusive in helping our customers while being part of a fun, team-oriented retail culture. Hiring immediately.

Play a key role in helping your store, your people and your customer win.

  • Position Responsibilities:
  • Timely and effective responses to membership inquiries (email, phone, or in person)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers/members
  • Maintaining the space to our quality standards (kitchen, coffee bar, office, and food & beverage supplies)
  • Be attentive and providing excellent service to members and guests
  • Display enthusiasm, positive attitude, and reliability on the job
  • Demonstrating ownership of all required work activities
  • Work with store team on identifying potential Staples Studio leads
  • Greet members, provide a welcoming environment, and demonstrate comfort with customer engagement
  • Host member and local events to build the Staples Studio brand
  • Promote Staples values and initiatives
  • Travel to other Co-Working sites to support as needed

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs
  • Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting store standards
  • Strong work ethic
  • Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
  • Ability to work with people in a social working environment
  • Attention to detail and organized
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Acquire new leads and convert those leads by demonstrating the value of the space
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Interest and curiosity about business, specifically in start-up and small enterprise a plus
  • Excellent customer service and dedication to the customer experience

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Ability to manage a book of business including existing members and prospective members
  • Customer Service or hospitality experience
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with members
  • High attention to detail and managing execution
